TrailBlazers Projects 2025-2026 

We had so much fun volunteering at the 2025 Magnolia Run and Walk for Epilepsy. This event welcomed over 1,000 participants and raised $ 113,795! Our group ran the registration table, helped set up vendor tents, and, most importantly, cheered many participants to the finish line. Volunteering with organizations that work to support these important causes, especially ones like epilepsy that affect so many people globally, is something that Trailblazers is proud to be a part of!

To close out September, we spent our Saturday morning volunteering with the Grace Community Church Food Pantry. We organized over 40 bags of produce and made over 100 bags of food for those experiencing homelessness. We are so grateful to the Grace Community Food Pantry for allowing us to spend our Saturday morning giving back to those in our local Atlanta community!

For our October event, we spent our Saturday morning planting trees with Trees Atlanta. Here, we learned about the importance of restoring our natural community and planted 17 trees! We'd like to extend our gratitude to Trees Atlanta for allowing us to join the efforts in restoring the biodiversity in East Point, one tree at a time!

For our November event, we spent our Monday morning cleaning up our beloved Beltline. We spent several hours picking up trash, restoring the natural beauty of Atlanta's prized walking route. As an Atlanta-based community, there's no better way to express our thanks for our community than by cleaning up a communal path, designed to bring our city together!

To start the new year, we spent our Sunday morning packing relief kits for those affected by Hurricane Melissa. In these 350+ kits, we provided hygiene and writing tools for Jamaicans impacted by the hurricane. Here at Trailblazers, while we focus predominantly on our local community, it is an important value of ours to help those in need, regardless of how close or far they may be!

For our February event, we started our weekend off by partnering with Zev Bryant's organization to pack and bag over 200 care bags for our fellow Atlanta residents in need. These bags included essentials such as shampoo, body wash, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and food coupons. Thank you to Restoring One's Hope Atlanta for allowing us to join you for this awesome event!

For our March event, we worked with Trees Atlanta to plant dozens of new trees around Dean Rusk Park. These efforts will not go unnoticed, as they are vital to sustaining Atlanta's natural urban forests!

For our April event, we once again partnered with our friends at Trees Atlanta. As always, it is important to consider the impact trees have on preserving Atlanta's beautiful natural forestry!

For our May event, we worked with Atlanta Food Bank to help sort and package groceries that our community counts on. Our work contributed to the packaging of over 8,000 pounds of food and over 7,000 meals for those in need in the metropolitan Atlanta area!

For our June event, we spent out time beautifying the Beltline by cleaning up roadside trash and removing hazardous weeds. As always, our priority is giving back to the community that gave us everything!

For our July event, we once again partnered with our friends at Atlanta Food Bank. With a larger group, we were able to outdo our previous performance and package just under 13,000 pounds of food and 11,000 total meals for those in need! As always, there is nothing that means more than ensuring that those in our community who are in need get the help they deserve, so they can one day pay it forward!
