Kiara's extensive involvement in service and leadership demonstrates her commitment to making a positive impact on her community through education, the arts, and advocacy for children.She founded Guiding Voices in November 2023, teaching orphaned children music literacy and vocal training, and recently raised over Rp 60 million through a drama musical event. Partnering with Desa Putra orphanage, she also provides competitive opportunities for the children. She is the Head of Committee and Marketing for Asmaraloka, organizing art exhibitions to support World Harvest’s educational programs for underprivileged children, overseeing volunteers, and managing marketing. She also exercises leadership in after-school clubs, teaching dance with Bust a Move and English with Kasih Edukasi, where she creates teaching materials. Her leadership roles include being a student ambassador team leader, National Honor Society member, debate club officer, and SEPTA dance team choreographer. Her work reflects a strong commitment to improving her community through education, the arts, and advocacy.

Annalise
Annalise Fung is a confident, open-minded student passionate about English, Psychology, and Communications. A two-year competitor on her school's speech team, she has earned awards from the Hong Kong Music and Speech Association and the Hong Kong Junior Speech Festival. She founded a non-profit in Hong Kong to advance English education for minority and underprivileged communities and co-leads Cantonese workshops for migrant workers with Mission For Migrant Workers. As Head of Speakers for TedXChinese International School (TedXCIS), she coordinates impactful speeches for events.
Beyond local initiatives, Annalise, as part of the Ascend Leadership Team, led a service trip to Thailand, where she spoke to 100+ Thai students and organized educational events for Burmese refugees and other underprivileged groups. Annalise believes that giving back to the community that has given her so much gives her a sense of fulfilment that nothing else provides. Some of her happiest moments in life are from working with her students and children in the community, and that is why she loves volunteering and wants to share this love and sense of fulfilment that comes with volunteering with the future generation.

She tirelessly drives social change through awareness campaigns and collaborative efforts, focusing on issues close to her heart. Her efforts aim to create a meaningful social impact by raising awareness and leading campaign drives to address critical problems. She participated in the TribesforGOOD’s Flagship Program on Global Challenges and Social Justice, where she addressed financial inequity and facilitated financial literacy workshops for young women at the Urja Foundation. Her efforts expanded to hands-on work at Shakti and Gulmeher Foundations in Delhi NCR. She raised Rs. 10,000 for Tribal Artisans through a social investing campaign with Rang De and contributed to the Nilgiri Elephant Fund, which raised over Rs. 13.6 lakh. She also earned a Certificate of Membership from Umeed – A Drop Of Hope for her volunteer work, which included hygiene awareness, a tree plantation drive, and various social justice projects. Through ReachONE, she completed 30 hours of volunteering, developing impactful English lesson plans for Eco School Nusantara in Indonesia. Additionally, she received recognition from Sahdev’s Sustainability Initiative for her contribution to tree planting with the Prasiddhi Forest Foundation. These experiences highlight her commitment to social justice, financial literacy, and environmental sustainability.

Her leadership roles as a student council member, vice president of the India Club, and National Honor Society member further enhance her community efforts, demonstrating her dedication to making a difference. She leverages her academic success to provide free tutoring through the National Honor Society and organizes charity events like a movie night, using school resources to support various causes. Delya combines her leadership skills and academic achievements to empower and help others, aiming to continue making a positive impact.

Mahika
Mahika is a compassionate student dedicated to making a positive community impact through various initiatives. Over the past two years, she has contributed over 200 hours to volunteer work, including hosting a science series and teaching 3D printing to local elementary students. She also organizes programs introducing underprivileged youth to educational and extracurricular opportunities such as robotics, civics, tennis, and tutoring in coding and math.Mahika’s efforts extend globally through her work in rural India, where she has repaired communities and tutored students. Locally, she is active in her school’s Hindu Student Organization and is creating a podcast to inspire women in the workforce. Sophia
Sophia is a dedicated student with a great commitment to community service and being a woman for others. In the past three years of high school, she has committed to doing 200 hours of community service at Blanchet house, which aims at offering food, clothing and shelter to those experiencing houselessness. Also at, Portland Tennis and Education, which creates a level learning and playing field for Portland's underserved youth. Finally NorthWest Pilot Project, which connects low-income seniors with rental housing that is safe, permanent and affordable. Beyond her service work, Sophia is a leader of her high school's Young Women of Color Club, founder of her school's Social Entrepreneurship Club as well as a member of her school's mock trial team, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Latino Student Union and swim team. Overall, Sophia loves being fully engaged in all parts of her life outside and inside of school.
